We demand that all of our players are using proper tennis shoes while playing tennis to avoid damage to the courts. We recommend that all players have their own racket. If you tell the guys in the Tennis Store ("Tennisbutikken") at Hasle you're a member of OSI Tennis, you'll get a solid discount (usually 25%). They have clothing, rackets, strings, bags - everything you'll ever need for playing. We also have the same deal (25%) at Master Sport at Karlsrud (east of central Oslo). If you need to restring your rackets you can get in touch with one of the tennis shops mentioned above. As of 25.11.25 he offers the following:

Strength training

At Clarkson Tennisarena and Nordstrand Tennisklubb we have access to the strength and conditioning rooms on the second floor. Feel free to use them for warm ups or exercise, but please make sure to clean up after you are finished.

Playing on Your Own

As for playing on your own, there are several locations in Oslo, some of which you can find and book in the Matchi app. Here are some popular ones:

-Clarksons Tennisarena (Oslo Tennisarena) offers student pricing (185kr/h) between 06:00 - 15:00 and 22:00 - 00:00 on weekdays

-Voldsløkka Tennisbaner offers free to play courts during the outdoor season

-MIL - Frogner Tennis offers bookable clay courts during the outdoor season. Booking opens 7 days in advance.

-Heming Tennis & Padel offers indoor and outdoor courts. Booking opens 4 days in advance

-Nordstrand Tennisklubb (NTK) - Oslo offers bookable indoor courts Booking opens 7 days in advance.

All of the above are accessible by public transport.
